Nightwalk SS2011

The Arches in Glasgow famous for showcasing music, fashion and the arts hosts it’s second Nightwalk event on Friday 22 April. The best of Glasgow design talent will be making the way down the catwalk including Beretk!Ah, Betty Spoke, Fair Feathered Friend, GSA Capsule Collections, HandMadeInPartick, Hilary Laing, Jennie Lööf, Katerina Lambrou, Lilly Wiggler, MeeMee Couture, Obscure Couture, Oui! Designs, ten30 and William Chambers Millinery.

If that isn’t enough entertainment will be provided in the shape of Cat Aclysmic:

“The ultimate Southern Belle gone bad. This tattooed terror from the depths of Dixie blends British wit and American burlesque with fire and dance to create larger than life characters and sex-charged satire. Unforgettable, original, and deeply entertaining Cat Aclysmic is truly the hottest thing from the North to come out of the South”.

DJ’s Ursula and Mustang Sally will ensure that the Glasgow stylista’s and fashionista’s will be rocking their heels til the wee small hours!

Bringing you a fantastic fusion of fashion, style and clubbing Nightwalk S2011 will not disappoint I experienced the delights backstage at last years event which I attended with Olanic as a dresser. As you can imagine it was amazing to be in the thick of it all garments flowing, models strutting and designers pinning and sewing! I am looking forward to this years instalment with much excitement and plan to be there with my trusty photographer capturing amazing images such as these from last year.

Tickets for NIGHTWALK SS2011 are £15 (plus booking fee) and include a voucher for £15 OFF @ SASSOON SALON in Princes Square! The first 50 attendants will receive a free Pincer cocktail. And everyone gets a Sassoon Salon goody bag! Meal deal with ticket @ the Arches CafeBar also available. The event is in aid of St Margaret’s Hospice.
