Elevé Ballerina

The rise of all things ballet and dance for 2011 is getting off to a head start with the upcoming release of Black Swan starring Natalie Portman and the amazing designs of Rodarte . All the buzz has left me yearning for a night at the ballet swathed in chiffon! I have always been a fan of ballet from taking classes as a young girl to dragging my boyfriend along to teeter in the gods to view the wonder of Swan Lake (at £5 for a ticket it was all we cold afford). The upcoming trends as well as the film are very exciting to me as the floaty fabrics are suitable for any age when styled appropriately. Sheer blouses paired with tailored trews, ballerina inspired dresses and floaty skirts all jeté around my mind. There are a few gorgeous pieces around and I am sure as the new season drops hit the high street we will be overwhelmed with choice.

    Gorgeous!

Perfect inspiration for a cold January day.

Haven’t seen Black Swan yet, but it’s on my list.

  2. Ooh, stunning chiffon goodness! I love that skirt from M&S, may save my gift card for that one. Good colour too. Maybe we should go on a fashion trip to see Black Swan one weekend when it is out?! We could rope in Niki T?
